Beginner-friendly?
Yes.
Soft sand-bottom beachbreak with multiple peaks and broad takeoff zones. The catches are along-shore current and the stair carry back up the bluff, not the wave.
Lineup etiquette
Beachbreak priority is per-wave, not by lineup position. A wave already taken from the peak isn't open to paddle into.
When it's on
Northwest or west groundswell with a working south swell. Light offshore wind from the east. Mid-tide window.
When beginners can paddle out
Waist-high to shoulder-high on any tide with light wind. First light runs glassiest before the sea breeze fills in.
